UEFISCDI, a national authority under the Ministry of Education, drives RDI by funding projects, and shaping policies in higher education and R&D. With a strong commitment to climate neutrality and urban sustainability, UEFISCDI contributes its expertise to numerous initiatives, as for example Horizon Europe Cofund Partnership for Driving Urban Transitions to a Sustainable Future or ERA-Net Urban Accessibility & Connectivity. UEFISCDI leads CapaCITIES, a support action for authorities to advance the governance structures and strengthen dedicated support for cities to achieve the climate-neutral Cities Mission. UEFISCDI hosts M100 Mirror Mission Hub, the national platform supporting the EU Cities Mission. In HARMONMISSIONS, UEFISCDI will leverage its extensive experience to ensure successful project implementation, contributing to all project activities aimed to harmonise the implementation of the European Missions on the Danube region level.
