| Expertise | RDA Banat is the first regional development institution dealing with regional socio-economic development in the territory of AP Vojvodina, with a leading role in coordinating development activities in two Banat district, and it is recognized as a creator of regional initiatives and inter-municipal connections, by bringing together partners from all sectors. Working on the promotion of the region as well as its development, RDA BANAT since its founding (2002) to date, has implemented over 180 projects financed from international and domestic sources of funding and attracted more than 20 million of euro. In line with key priorities and available resources, RDA Banat finds solutions that are economically and socially sustainable, in compliance with the provisions of environmental protection, taking care that all social groups benefit from the economic development of Banat. During the years, RDA Banat has created personnel, financial, organisational, spatial and other conditions for a respectable development institution of Banat, which works according to the good practice of development agencies in the EU in order to optimise the development goals in the region and to contribute to the realisation of its vision "The Banat Region belongs to a group of developed European regions". RDA Banat was involved in the preparation of more than 30 Sustainable development strategies / Development plans / Sectoral development documents of local governments in Banat, which are meant to help them to identify their strengths and weaknesses, set goals, and develop strategies for achieving those goals. All this makes it an excellent connoisseur of circumstances, both locally and in the whole region. Also, through cooperation with a large number of partners from the country and across Europe, RDA Banat has gained enviable experience, especially in strategic planing, development and implementation of projects in various areas of socio-economic development, business support, etc. |
