| Description | The M100 – Mirror Mission Cities Hub Romania is a national platform established to extend and replicate the objectives of the EU Mission “100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030” at the national level. Launched in 2023 in partnership with the European Commission and key Romanian ministries, it supports cities in developing Climate City Contracts, Action Plans, and Investment Strategies aligned with EU goals. The hub brings together municipalities, national institutions, research organisations, and private actors to coordinate policies and investments for climate-neutral urban transformation. It serves as a transferable model for mission-based governance, positioning Romania as a frontrunner in climate-neutral and smart city innovation in the Danube Region. |
