| Description | This article provides an overview of Interreg A (Cross-Border Cooperation) in the 2021–2027 period, with a focus on climate-focused cooperation in the Danube region. The article outlines the landscape of bilateral CBC programmes in Danube countries, including typical budgets and co-financing arrangements. It highlights the main climate-relevant project types, such as flood and drought risk management, nature-based solutions, low-carbon local development and climate-resilient governance.
